FMERA Mourns the Passing of Alfred C. Koeppe
FMERA mourns the passing of NJ Economic Development Authority (EDA) Board Chairman Al Koeppe, who served on the FMERA Board since his nomination to chair the NJ EDA Board by Governor Chris Christie in 2010. He helped to steer the creation of FMERA, designed to implement the Fort Monmouth Reuse and Redevelopment Plan as adopted by the Authority’s predecessor planning agency, the Fort Monmouth Economic Revitalization Planning Authority. His experience and guidance in the area of economic development was critical to the successful inception of FMERA at the Fort, and his friendship and compassion will be sorely missed. With over 40 years of excellence in leading people, managing businesses, and directing business growth in the State of New Jersey, Al’s influence will be felt for years to come.
